Hi everyone,
Here is our flyer for this year's Ice Bowl at the Big Sioux. I will quickly run through the basic details:
 
Sunday, Feb 20th, registration starting @ 11:00, play starting ~ noon.
Big Sioux DGC - Brandon, SD (daily or annual entrance permit required).
Cost is $20.00 plus at least 2 non-perishable food items. Includes a commerative disc and a $5.00 donation to the Brandon Food Pantry.
(disc guaranteed for the first 30 entrants - I will reduce price substitute another disc if over 30 entrants).
Format is 1 round of 18 holes, Open, Advanced, Intermediate, and Recreational divisions.
Divisional CTPs and a putting contest included.

The tournament will take place at the Oahe Downstream disc golf course near the
Oahe Dam north of Pierre, SD. Player registration will start at 10:00 am. Play will consist of two rounds of 20 holes. Tee off will be at 10:45am.

Registration will be $20 for every division...(Advanced, Advanced Masters, Intermediate, womens, & youth)

First 40 players will receive a custom Steady Ed T-shirt. We would like to have a minimum of three players to create a division. This tourney is a cash payout….payout will be based on participants. For example: 10 players for intermediate show up….that’s $200…payout of top three players will be $100 for 1st, 2nd will be $60, & 3rd will be $40. Lunch will be provided (sloppy joe & chips)!!


We are hoping to do a long drive contest, ring of fire, & maybe some other games to win prizes also… if time allows us to do all of them. $5 for the ace pool…we will also do a CTP(closet to the pin) for the ace pool if no one aces during the tourney.


Oahe Downstream is a state park and entrance fee is required or an annual pass whichever. Plenty of camping is available and is an exceptional park to stay the weekend. Hope to see you there!!

3:00 – 8:00 Course open for practice.

5:00 – Random mixed doubles (Meet at East shelter #6.)


Saturday July 31st (All divisions)

7:30 - 9:00 AM Players Check-in (At the East shelter #6.)

9:05 – 9:15 Player meeting (All divisions) at the East Shelter.

9:30 Start round 1 (All Divisions)

12:00 Lunch

1:30 – Start round 2 (All Divisions)

4:00 – Awards in recreational division.


Sunday August 1st (Professional and advanced divisions only)

9:00 AM Round 3 (Professional and advanced)

12:00 Awards for Professional and advanced divisions.

Dimensions of Play

Professional = 4 rounds. Three rounds of 22 holes and a final round of 9 modified holes.

Advanced = 3 rounds 22 holes each.

Intermediate, Recreational and Juniors = 2 rounds of 22 holes.

The BHDGC is loaning the necessary baskets for a 10-hole disc-golf course at the Hemp Hoe Down May 13.14.15th.
 
A disc-golf tournament will be held Sunday, May 16th at noon!

As the Hemp Hoe Down will have ended Saturday night :( there will be no entry charge to get into the campground! 

Everyone come play!
 
Double Disc Court (Google DDC) will be set up as well as a station for putting games.


Several non-disc games will be there too... Fun for all!
