So for those of you have not been up recently I have moved all of the baskets to their shortest or at least easiest placments. I intend to have in these placements over the winter. I you would like to see a few moved for a few weeks let me know here.

The wife and I will be taking a weeks vacation to the area in early August. The pics I found on DGCR.com look pretty rough. Are there plans for more maintenance/trimming of the fairways in the future? Just want to know what to expect and how to dress.

I have reserved the bragging until someone actually witnessed one of my aces here. I play alone a lot, but during league I aced 15! There is nothing like the sound of chains when you cannot see the basket. This is quite the feat for someone with a weak arm. In the past I have also aced 4 in the far placement, again nothing but the sound of chains, how sweet. Keeping with this blind theme I have aced 17. A bit more visually appealing was my ace on 8 in the closest placement. How's that for some bragging. I have to admit that these have been spread out over the last three years.

Played here on vacation last week. Lots of fun. Could use better "next tee" directional signage, but I found my way around with little delay. Hope to be back next year.

Well Steve I am glad that you had fun. It is a really fun course! The grass is very long this year and we still do not get enough players to make paths from basket to tee. I am working with the city to possibly get basket collars. We had some vandalism up there this summer so that is sucking up funding. Let your friends know about us. WE can use all the players we can get. I tell people to walk around town with a disc. It is a small town here but I carry disc around when working on club sponsorship so everyone knows what discs are. The more visible we are the greater the support I will get since very few locals play. I will keep working on the course so hopefully it will get better. Hope to see you again soon!

We installed the "next tee" collars on most of the baskets this summer. It soulds like it has really helped. Hoping for more improvements to come. This will still remain a rugged and primative course.
